Lindsey wanted a Hannah Montana party this year. We didn't really have a party, MeMe and Pap were in town, and we had a very low-key celebration.
In our original plans, we were not having a party this year, and instead were going to take her to Chicago and get an American Girl doll. Two days before her birthday, things changed, and she was instead wanting an "ipod" (and the day of her birthday she wondered if she could have a big party now).
So mom and dad had a date night Friday night and went shopping for an mp3 player - pink of course. She was very happy with her gift, and we think she'll enjoy it a lot more than an expensive doll (which will most likely happen at some point in the future, but not 6).
