Race for the Cure

Peoria's 24th annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure was today. The race is amazing, there are people as far as the eye can see and they are all there to show their support or remembrance of someone with breast cancer. The last number I saw showed that they had over 18,000 registered.


I was brave and took both girls. For some strange reason I let me friend Megan talk me into doing 3 miles (I have both girls with me). I called David after the first mile and had him pick up Leslie and her little buddy Kaylie to go back to our house to play. There was NO way they would have made it.
