Lindsey's "fun" thing for the weekend - she wanted to pick apples. So we spent a beautiful Sunday afternoon at Tanner's Orchard about a half hour away. We round a wagon out to the apple trees, and picked a peck...kinda wished we chosen the half-peck, but I guess I'll be making a pie soon.
After picking apples the girls played in the play yard for quite a while. At $7 per kid, I was letting them play as long as they wanted. They both rode the barrel ride and went on the ponies. Leslie was hesitant about the ponies at first, but was okay as long as she was holding onto moms arm.
They had a great time and fell asleep on the drive home, so we took the scenic route - there's a lot to be said for a quite Sunday drive.
