Tuesday I picked Lindsey up after school and just the two of us headed downtown to see the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular. It was so much fun! They started out as reindeer, which was really neat. Then they did a tap dance to the 12 days of Christmas, and I think that's the first time Lindsey realized why she learns tap. They did a New York City scene, a bit from the Nutcracker, Toy Soldiers, and the Nativity. Of course, Santa was there throughout, and they went to the toy shop at the North Pole. Very fun!
It was very interesting to watch the show with her. It was her first time seeing dance performers, and she loved every minute of it. Talking to her in the car on the way home, she didn't realize it was the same girls in different costumes. I think the glitter and glam were the highlite for her, the show was just so big and bright.
