The girls were very excited that Halloween finally made it. Thursday was Lindsey's party at school since she was off Friday. It was a lot of fun to go to her classroom and see her with friends. Friday we decorated the house inside and out to make it a little "scary" since our neighbors were coming over after trick-or-treating.
We headed out in our 70 degree weather at dusk, much better than the freezing temperatures last year. The girls had a great time. It was a race from house to house at first, and then they settled into a groove. Leslie (who LOVES candy of all kind) would come back down to the sidewalk happily yelling what type of candy she got. It was very cute. We did the loop in about an hour, and there weren't a lot of kids out this year. Not sure why, but we didn't get our normal 200+. After trick-or-treating we came back for a late dinner and snacks with the neighbors.
