Saturday night was a halloween party at our YMCA. They had a costume parade, lots of games for the kids, a craft, a couple animals from them zoo, and a small haunted house that actually scared the girls just a bit. They needed it after last weekend, saying the train ride wasn't scary at all. The best part to them was the candy they got for playing the games. **Thanks for the great costumes from China, Susie!!

Sunday we carved our pumpkins. They had been begging all weekend, so we finally gave in. These are Lindsey's and Mom's...

And these are Leslie's and Dad's...

Sunday night was trunk-or-treat at school/church. Basically the kids run around the parking lot getting candy from people at the back of their cars. Much more efficient than walking house-to-house. About 100 cars maybe, some very nicely decorated for the occasion. It was cold and windy, so they were happy to get into the car when it was over. Of course, a lot more candy was received...and now what do we do with it??

I'd send it to work with David, but he had to report for jury duty today. We'll see how long it lasts!
