David and his dad golfed today, so we spent the hot morning walking around the mall and having lunch there. The mall had a little play area for kids, so we spent a little time there. It started to get crowded with a couple Mommy groups, so we knew it was time to head out.
The girls were pretty grumpy on the drive home, so I hoped they would nap. Of course not, I should know better. So off to the beach we went. I took my second book with me, and the sunshade this time, and we stayed about 3 hours. Lindsey and Dad built and sand castle, and Leslie's tidal pool came back while we were there, so the girls had a lot of fun.
After dinner this evening is was packing up. Trying to find everything after a week can be challenging. At least David's parents will be visiting later this month, so they can bring whatever they find after we leave. We head to the airport tomorrow afternoon, and will get home around 7 or so. Then it's laundry, grocery store, etc...back to the real life.
