Our lives are boring

There just hasn't been anything exciting going on to write about. We hung around the house Monday until 4 when we went to the pool. There was no one at the pool, which was really nice. The more the girls go, the more they do in the water. I signed Lindsey up for the last session of swim lessons that start next week. She's eager to do it on her own, if only she'd stick her face in the water!

Tuesday we went to the bookstore. I got a bunch of "projects" from Anne so I can do some work from home. It makes both of us happy. Leslie kept calling the bookstore "Anne's library." The girls did lots that they should not have, like trying to run the cash register. Lindsey enjoyed folding tshirts with the flip-folder, and said she needed one at home to fold her pajamas with. That could be a great Christmas gift for her - they even make a junior size. She also said, in Lindsey voice, "I can't believe I didn't think about folding tshirts sooner!" She's too funny.

After we got home and had dinner, Leslie wanted to go for a walk. So we all headed around the neighborhood, the girls on their bikes. We decided to go see the progress on Sophie's playhouse (it has carpet and lights), which I began by saying "we won't be here long," famous last words. Three hours later we came home...and went straight to bed!

Now it's Wednesday morning, and it's before 6am here... The roofers are arriving in the next half hour to start replacing the shingles on the house. We are VERY EXCITED to finally have this done, but it's sooooo early!!! I may have to nap with Leslie later.
