The roofing begins

Wow - I am so glad I got up at 5:30, because our contractor was here at 6am. Luckily he sat in his van because the other guys didn't get here until almost 8. Needless to say, today I slept til 7. Much more reasonable. They guys started removing the old shingles and paper, and had made a lot of progress by noon. The only problem was waiting for the dumpster to be delivered.

It finally arrived and they were able to clean up and put down the paper before they left. They still have to clean off the front side of the garage, but it won't take them long. They even did a really nice job of going around the house and picking up trash and nails that had fallen. A pretty good crew I'd have to say.

While they were working in the morning, we went to Safety Town to ride bikes and play. Leslie had a great time riding, Lindsey just wanted to play.

After lunch and rests, there were no naps, we went to the pool in the late afternoon. The high was only in the low 80s, so we had all the windows open in the house, and sleeping was great last night.
