Thursday we hung out around the house. I had to mow the yard, it had been 2 weeks. Oh, the grass was so long. I had to stop every-other row to empty the clippings. It took about an hour and a half to do the front, and I filled all 4 yardwaste containers, so I didn't get the back done.

The girls helped me clean inside. I had vacuumed and then Lindsey spilled milk on the floor. I told her that I would mop it up, and she jumped at the chance to do it herself. (Side note - in the spring she kept asking if I would teach her how to mop on May 31st - but I forgot. So back in June I taught her, and she thinks it's pretty cool). While Lindsey was mopping I started dusting and Leslie quickly took over that job. They also love to do windows. They were VERY helpful. Now if I could get them to clean the loft by themselves...

David finally got to golf after work. Susie and the kids came over for dinner, and I also had Maddie for a while. So after pizza, we took the kids for a walk in the neighborhood. We wanted to see the progress on Sophie's playhouse. It has a really pink door. I'll have to take a picture of it sometime.

It was a super-fun night (and day) with the kids!
