And so we did. The city of Jacksonville has a park just across the street from the football stadium that is called Kids Kampus. The best part is the water park of fountains and sprinklers. There are also playgounds, sand pits, and a great bike riding area (including bikes and helmets to borrow - check out those pictures and figure out the funniest part). It opened at 8am so we went early - the kids are up anyway - to beat the crowd. Turns out there was no crowd. We were there until almost 11, and pretty much had the park to ourselves. Obviously the kids liked the water best, but it was nice that they were able to go do other things, then go back to the water park. We liked it best because it was FREE.
We thought the kids were tired, so we went home for lunch then naps. Julian, the one who doesn't nap was the only one who did. So we needed something to fill the afternoon.
And we found Tunnelz N Tumblez. Boy was that fun. I need to figure out a way to open one and make a killing. Ok - David's battery is about to die. I'll write more about it later.
Check out the pictures http://picasaweb.google.com/dlonganbach you have to look at album titles.
